Hello :)
Well, I cannot believe it’s the last day of the month! April has been a complete whirlwind with spring awakening like a starving wild beast. After a busy month I am welcoming the earthly grounding that Taurus season offers us. I’m very good at getting things done but I am also very good at doing absolutely nothing in my free time and I’m ready to chill… Soak up the sun, lazily garden & drink tea.
Living in rhythm with the earth and tending the land is inherent in all of us we just need to find the space within us to remember… The knowing runs deep in our bones, it’s the wisdom that calls to us from the wind through the trees. Everything we need is provided for us by the grace of the Mother. When we reintegrate this connection we feel grounded and whole.

April musings: Garden edition
I’ve built a new garden fence (I’m taking the credit even though I did not help, but I did make pizza and provide gentle instruction). It’s much more sturdy than the past structures I put together and it even has a beautifully crafted gate with a trellis to grow things upon. Everything safe & sound from the bunnies, and Marley :)
All the perennials are rejoicing in the fine spring weather we’ve been blessed with. Now we find ourselves in a bit of heatwave here in Eastern Pennsylvania and the plant babies have been brought out to bask in the beautiful sunshine! As we are in a ~10-day clear no danger of frost zone~ I’ve begun to direct sow some more seeds… If you ask me, we are in the clear :)
I love watching the garden slowly unfurl and watch as each plant slowly returns with such beauty and grace… In it’s own time without expectation. I planted two new types of poppies in addition to California Poppy and they seem to have taken! I seeded most in their bed but I did start a few indoors just incase…they say you get a better germination when seeded indoors, it seems to be somewhat true but poppy seedlings are so delicate I always worry about transplanting them. I’ve interplanted these along with calendula & red clover, I forever love the contrast of the the bright poppies & calendula against the bright pink red clover blossoms.
Along with the new poppies, I’m giving snapdragons a whirl… The seedlings are looking splendid so I am hopefully they do well! I am looking forward to a very magical gardening season growing lots of new things!
My vegetables garden is officially at capacity but I’m still tucking herbs into every nook and cranny :)
Stay tuned next month for a progress update :)
What I’m working on…
Your favorite floral candle, Garden Party, will be restocked May 2nd, just in time for Mother’s Day! I am also putting together a small Mother’s Day Basket that will be available at the Belleville Market!
A small batch of Goddess of the Sun Oil has been restocked but it won’t last long! I will have another batch ready in a few weeks!! Calendula seedlings are popping so I expect to have a summer abundant with blooms to keep stock of all our favorite skincare offerings! *I have a few bottles available at the Belleville Market*
What I’m working with…
Delighting in fresh Lemon Balm & Raspberry leaf infusions and fertilizing my body with spring mineral rich plants which are all around us now. Enjoying infusions of nettle, violet flower & leaf, chickweed and cleavers as I await the red clover to bloom any day now.
Currently lighting…
Chamomile Clouds on sunny days
High Noon on partly cloudy days
Lavender Haze on cloudy/rainy days
