Plant-based Candles.
Iâm currently sitting on my compost bin because thatâs where the midday sun is shining. The scent of fallen leaves, a decaying garden and the sun on my skin is enchanting. I am soaking up every ounce of warmth and sunshine... I spent this past week weeding and prepping the garlic bed with compost to be planting this weekend. Weeping while harvesting the last of summerâs bounty, I am forever grateful for the earthâs gifts. Everything else will be left until further notice and I will leave almost everything that doesnât need harvesting for the birds and wildlife to enjoy through the winter.
Once I returned from Sicily, the summer disappeared and all of a sudden the holidaze are right around the corner⊠Itâs been a whirlwind of a month. So much has changed. Everything is moving so fast but it feels refreshingâŠ
And just as the sun sets, we are reminded to rest. And then rise once again. Rest, rinse, repeat. Taking baths & drinking tea keeps me in perfect balance this time of year, along with my reliable herbal drops for the busy daysâŠWeâre reaching for Grand Rising Herbal Tea, Uplifting Spirits & Headspace Herbal Drops and a Mystic Moon Bath.
Thereâs nothing like a sip of herbal tea to bring you back into your body after youâve been working hard all morning. A quick reset, a nourishing snack and iâm back in business.
I hope you are all finding ways to nourish yourselves. Moving your bodies, walks in nature, sipping bone broth, slurping a spicy oxymel, drinking hot herbal teas, soaking in warm baths & lighting all the candles. Tisâ the season for getting cozy & staying grounded.

As the eclipse has just passed, the energies are still potent as the moon slowly begins to waneâŠEvery month, when a Full Moon rises, I am delighted by its beauty⊠Itâs always a magical experience for me and I hope everyone else too⊠I want to say to the strangers I pass in the parking lot, âlook at the moon!â, itâs glorious, how lucky areâŠ
