Happy summer! Happy Sun in Cancer! ~ My favorite time of the year ~ when the day lingers long into the night ~ the sun is high and the weather is hot (well, usually). Flowers in bloom, iced tea, sun bathing, book reading, sundresses, thunderstorms, camping & weekends at the beach ~ what summer dreams are made of ~ that summertime feeling of freedom & fun. This season teaches us how to relax & let go.

The summer represents fertility and growth, giving us fertile ground on which to sow seeds for growth & abundance for months to come…This is the energy of Cancer season ~ The nurturing mother at its core, giving softness, intuition, big feelings & big moods ~ either expressed, or not as the crab is known to hide away in its shell when the emotional tidalwaves become too much. But we find a home in this sign, a comforting meal, a cup of tea & a loving place to go.
