June in Bloom 🌿🌞🦋
Currents/ Birthday Sale / & other news!
Sometimes you just need to let go.
Whatever may be, let it be.
Searching for that magical body of water to submerge myself into…
Harvesting & dehydrating small batches of herbs in rotation, making herbal vinegars, fresh plant tinctures!
Just made a Tart Cherry + Holy Basil Herbal Vinegar ~ I will add this to sparkling water or herbal tea or maybe a lil’ cocktail.
I just ran out of my annual Hyssop + Red Clover Oxymel (I use this for mostly for respiratory support) ~ However, I currently have no Red Clover! (Big sadness as she is one of my daily herbs for lymph + cycle support - I am substituting dried red clover from Mountain Rose Herbs in the medicine cabinet for teas - But it typically comes back or self-seeds every year) Anyway, for my Oxymel this year, I will be using Hyssop + Bee Balm! ~ Excited about this switch up…Just waiting for the Bee Balm to bloom…I’ve noticed all my flowers are blooming later than usual this year.
Calendula still has yet to bloom but it’s any day now! I lost about 50% of what I planted to something (birds?) eating the leaves. Luckily, I purchased extra seeds this year because year was a struggle. That’s the way gardening goes…the easiest things can be the hardest to grow sometimes.
Plantain Leaf is being infused for a new batch of Plantain Salve ~ your go-to summer salve for bug bites & bee stings! She will be ready in about two weeks!
I’ve been drinking a lot of “Adrenal Cocktails” or basically adding lots of sea salt and/or coconut water to all my bevs & herbal infusions. I’m thinking of doing a little series which I will call “drinks w/ tincs”…Making different mocktails or cocktails with each of my tincture offerings. What do you think? I think it could be really fun!
I hope that you all have a wonderful long weekend celebrating my birthday! Go to the beach, or any body of water to wish me a happy birthday :)
I am having a birthday sale online and the Belleville Market is having their grand opening this Saturday ~ if you have yet to check it out…what are you waiting for?! Stop in after shopping at the Farmers Market!
As always, thanks so much for being here. Your support is appreciated beyond the moon. Stay tuned for more plant-based offerings, herbal musings, recipes & more to bring closer to yourself & Mother Earth.
